New 5.5 mile walk added to ‘Local Walks’

“Murhill Quarry Circular” is a medium, fairly challenging walk with a couple of steep climbs and descents. It’s been added to the 5-8 mile section of our ‘Local Walks’ page. You can access it here.

It’s a great walk taking in the canal towpath, riverside and the village of Winsley and crosses the Avoncliff Aqueduct. It passes through fields, short sections of woods and along lanes, with some great views and a small slice of industrial history.
