Get Wiltshire Walking

The GWW walks in Bradford on Avon take place every Wednesday morning, starting at 9:30 from outside The Weaving Shed.

Get Wiltshire Walking is a Public Health funded project that aims to ensure every community within the county has access to a free weekly led walk. Now in its 12th year, the programme delivers across 19 locations and offers 40 weekly walks of varying levels. Each walk has its regular starting venue on the same day and time each week. The routes often vary and are led by fully trained volunteer Walk Leaders who are able to manage and tailor the walk to meet the requirements of the participants.

There are two levels to choose from, Strider 60-90 minutes and Stroller 45-60 minutes. They are fun, friendly and a great way to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, whilst getting to know your local area and make new friendships. After the walk most walkers return to an independently run coffee shop for a social cup of tea/coffee.

All our walks are free to attend and there is no need to book, just turn up on the day. We are sorry, but no dogs, other than sensory dogs, are allowed.
