Follow the green waymarkers for the entirety of this route. We recommend you take a Wheel map with you as waymarkers occasionally go missing.

The start and finish point is the K&A Canal bridge over the Trowbridge Road to the E of Bradford on Avon; this is the closest point on the Outer Circle to the town centre. However, you can gain access from anywhere along the route which can be followed clockwise or anti-clockwise.

The route is incredibly varied and passes through some of the best the area has to offer - hills (up & down), river, canal, historic buildings, including National Trust properties, woods, views, pubs and cafes.

There are some demanding hills and there are places in the winter where the route is very muddy. You will cross numerous stiles and a few short road sections will need to be negotiated.
