The minibus will take us to the start of the walk at Chapel Plaister, about a 10 minute journey.
The walk has just one fairly steep descent and ascent, otherwise it is mainly level, on field paths and along country lanes. Early on we’ll visit a ‘secret’ gravestone commemorating John Hanning Speke, the first European to reach Lake Victoria.
The walk will continue past some Bath stone mines, through the By Brook Valley to Box and returning to Hazelbury Manor where the minibus will pick us up to take us back to Bradford on Avon.
