Description: Before Avon Rubber closed in the 1990s, the town was an industrial hub of packed pubs, well-attended churches and a thriving co-operative movement. The walk starts with a panoramic view of the town, followed by a visit to the six-acre former factory complex that once led the world in rubber production, on a site that had previously been famed for the manufacture of the finest quality cloth. This walk features in Walks to Works 2: Bath and Bradford on Avon (Smallish Books, 2025)
Grading: Easy a level route, a comfortable pace, no stiles to negotiate , up to about 3 miles. Regular short stops are included.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the stated start time, to allow for registration and briefing.
For longer walks, bring a picnic lunch, plus snacks and plenty of water.
Walk duration times are a guide and the actual walks may be a slightly shorter or longer than advertised.
