Monthly Walk- Sunday 12th January

Led by Helen Powell, 6.5 miles, about 3 hours

A gentle 6.5 mile walk to start the New Year. Helen has planned a route to Trowbridge (excited yet!); 50% hard surfaces and 50% soft. Possibly mud but it could be a cold and frosty morning. The good news is there are unlikely to be cattle or horses.

The route goes via Trowle Common, follows the Lambrook stream to its confluence with the river Biss, then the railway path back to the Kennet & Avon Canal. Depending on ground conditions, we will either return to town via Widbrook Woods and spoke 3, or the towpath.

N.B. If you are coming by car and using a pay and display car park, always please buy some extra time as walks are sometimes delayed by unforeseen circumstances.
