SA3: WALK AND CANAL CRUISE

Adult £10 / U16 £7 - 5 miles

Meet 09.50 at Explore BoA in Westbury House Gardens ready to leave at 10.00. Please bring a picnic lunch and drink.

Please note we have a ‘no dogs except assistance dogs’ policy for all our walks.

Enjoy a 5 mile walk followed by a leisurely 2 hour cruise along the Kennet & Avon Canal from the historic Dundas Aqueduct back to BoA Lock.

The walk from BoA to Dundas will have good views, a climb & pass through attractive, ancient woodland. We’ll eat our picnic lunch on arrival at Dundas.

On the cruise back to BoA there’ll be plenty to see - wildlife, beautiful scenery & old bridges. We’ll have a local expert on board who will point out interesting features about the history of the canal and its importance to local trade.

Refreshments will be available to buy on the boat.
