SA2: CANAL CRUISE & WALK

Adult £10 / U16 £7 - 5 miles

Meet 09.45 at BoA Lock, by the Canal Trust Cafe BA15 1LE; the boat leaves at 10.00. Please bring a picnic lunch and drink.

Please note we have a ‘no dogs except assistance dogs’ policy for all our walks.

Enjoy a leisurely 2 hour cruise along the Kennet & Avon Canal to the historic Dundas Aqueduct. There’ll be plenty to see on the way - wildlife, beautiful scenery & old bridges. We’ll have a local expert on board who will point out interesting features about the history of the canal and its importance to local trade.

We’ll eat our picnic lunch on arrival at Dundas and there will also be refreshments on sale on the boat. The 5 mile walk back to BoA will be along lanes, across fields & pass through some attractive woodland with some really good views.
