Sunday May 11th monthly walk

On Sunday 11th May there will be another 'minibus walk', led by Glyn Williams, 5 miles. This will be a great opportunity to find out more about the Somerset Coal Canal with a local expert.

The walk will start at Dundas then follow the line of the old Somerset Coal Canal through Monkton Combe, Tucking Mill & Midford to Combe Hay. On the way Glyn will tell you about the part that William Smith played in its planning and construction as well as the history of the canal and the geology of the area.

We will leave at 9.30 and be be out for around 5 hours. Places will be limited to 15, so booking is essential. You can book here.
