This circular 8 mile walk, mainly within the boundary of the Cotswolds AONB, explores the historic relationship of Bradford on Avon town and the hamlets of Conkwell, Murhill, Turleigh and Avoncliff with the Kennet and Avon Canal. Starting at Bradford on Avon the walk goes through fields to Conkwell then quiet lanes to Murhill. From here it meanders through the older parts of Murhill, Winsley and Turleigh to the aqueduct at Avoncliff. The canal is followed back to Bradford on Avon.
Please bring a picnic lunch and drinks.
