Leader: Christopher Robbins

carrotChristopher is a qualified herbalist whose walks have proved really popular for several years now and have become a regular feature of our Festival.

This walk will explore the fields and hedgerows in the local area, searching for edible plants. You will also be given ideas for preparing the food and recipes to try as well as some indication of the medicinal qualities of some of the plants.

Because of the nature of the walk there will be frequent stops to look at plants and find out about their properties.

Please bring your own picnic lunch.
