Learn more about our magical bats with a member of Wiltshire Council’s Rights of Way & Countryside team. Stopping frequently to listen for and watch bats, we’ll walk alongside the canal and river, finishing off at the packhorse bridge.  In previous years we have encountered up to seven species of bat.

There will be a short introductory talk before the walk sets off and bat detectors will be provided.

It would be wise to wrap up warm as it will be chilly near the water at this time of year. Please bring a torch.

U16s to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This will be Alison’s 6th Festival for us and her walks are always well attended, so you really do need to book early to avoid being disappointed.
