A comfortable afternoon walk, mainly level with a couple of short slopes, going out east of BoA. Once we leave the town centre behind we soon enter a small wood – “The Strips” – that runs above and alongside the River Avon; the river keeps us company for the first part of the walk through the fields by the sailing club. We go for a short distance through some more woods, then climb to join the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath which takes us back to BoA finishing at a local cafe for some well earned refreshment (not included in the cost).
